Summer is here, which means changes to our weekly schedule: 

Saturday Nite Service will resume in the Fall  |  LiV Youth Group Meetings will resume in the Fall

Middle School Class (3rd - 8th Grade)
No Class on June 24th 
For the summer months this includes students in 3rd - 8th Grade. We have combined these two classes for June, July, August.
This class will not meet on the last Sunday of each month.

Lamphier Lake Hike
Saturday, June 23rd
Meet at the RMCM Parking lot at 7:30 a.m.

Join us for a hike to beautiful Lamphier Lake, in the Fossil Ridge Wilderness. this is a family oriented hike that can be enjoyed by all ages and fitness levels.

We will meet at RMCM at 7:30 a.m. and leave the parking lot at 7:45 a.m. We will drive east of Gunnison to Parlin, then north to Ohio City. At Ohio City we will take Gold Creek road to the Gold Creek camp ground, and the trailhead for Lamphier Lake.

• This hike is about 2.5 miles with approximately 1700' of elevation gain, beginning at 10,000' and ending at 11,500'. 
• This hike offers the option to continue to Gunsight Pass on Fossil Ridge. 
• The hike is on a trail that can be quite rocky. Good footwear is important.
• Rain, hail, snow, etc., is always a possibility in the Colorado high country, so please bring appropriate gear. 
• You will want a day pack, lots of water, food, sunscreen, a good hat, rain gear, good hiking shoes or boots, a camera, and some basic first aid equipment. You may want hiking poles. 
• The snow is very light this year, but there is always the possibility of crossing some snow, especially if you choose to climb up to the pass. 
• Fishing is allowed in the Lake.
