SUNDAY MORNINGS
MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS - Sunday, May 1st, the middle school class (5th-8th grade) will be helping the younger classes with a Mother's Day project.
GROUND'S CREW - We are putting together a team to be responsible for the upkeep of the exterior and grounds of the RMCM property. We want to keep our property inviting and accessible to the community, and reflect the beauty of God. Having a group of people to help out will make sure this is not a big job for any one person. Examples of jobs are: watering one or two days a week, adopting an area (life-course or playground), weed-eating, parking lot clean-up, planting/gardening, etc. Jobs range from one or two days a week to once for the summer. Project Love Gunnison is hosting an oil change day for families facing hard times.
May 21st. from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
How it will work:
ONE: We will be receiving an offering at RMCM beginning May 1st to help cover the costs of providing the free oil changes. We want to provide as many free oil changes as possible - and though we have some business sponsors donating product - we still need more to make this a great success!
TWO: Coupons will be available soon for you to give to people that could use a FREE OIL CHANGE. All you need to do is make sure they fill out the bottom part of this coupon, and YOU return it to the RMCM office by May 18th.
THREE: We will provide the oil change SERVICE for those that bring in their own oil and filter. We will do this for as many people as we can within the time we have.
FOUR: There are LOTS of other ways to help out! We want to serve people as they wait for their oil to be changed! This includes free coffee and a bake-sale (to benefit the youth groups summer camp trip).
This is going to be a great service to our community! Thanks for your participation in any capacity!

SOPHIA'S KITCHEN

Every Thursday, women from the community host a girl's high school lunch called Sophia's Kitchen. We are always in need of women to cook, set-up, talk to girls while they eat, and tear down. Anyone who is interested in helping could help in any of these areas with whatever time they have. This weekly event is designed to reach out and love the high school aged girls in our community through kindness and God's love. We have a speaker every week who talks about issues relevant to them to encourage them to make good decisions and to turn to God.
