August 12 - 18

UPCOMING EVENTS
CELEBRATING THE BEGINNING OF OUR 15TH YEAR OF MINISTRY!
August 18th marks the beginning of RMCM's 15th year of ministry in the Gunnison Valley. To celebrate we are having a pot luck BBQ after church on Sunday, August 15th. The church will provide burgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments.
Bring a side dish, and either a dessert, or drinks to share. Please let Kay & Becky know what you will bring so that can plan accordingly, call Becky Glover (970.641.2688) or Kay Rutherford (970.642.1961).

PEDALING FOR PROCLAIMERS A man named Troy Love is pedaling from coast to coast to raise money for Proclaimers, from Faith Comes by Hearing. Faith Comes by Hearing is a group that is translating the Bible into every known language. Proclaimer is the unit that works with getting the translations in an audio format and distributed on MP3's around the world. Troy will be pedaling through Gunnison in the next week or so. If he is passing through on a weekend we will be having him talk about his pedaling adventure. You can learn more at his website: http://www.pedalingforproclaimers.com/ or find him on FaceBook.

OUTREACHES & PROJECTS
LIFE COURSE
We could still use some help building benches for the Prayer/Exercise stations along the course.

The Life Course continues to take shape in the field north and east of the church. The Life Course is a place for you to develop spirit, soul, and body. The trail has been built and delineated with rocks. It is ready for walking, jogging or riding your bike. All four stations along the course have sign posts installed, and by the end of the month, each will have information and suggestions for prayer and exercise. Two of the four stations on the course have exercise elements installed.
