In an effort to help busy Gunnison parents get their Christmas shopping done, RMCM is hosting a Parent’s Day Out on Saturday, December 12th from noon to 8:00 p.m. During these hours, RMCM will provide childcare for a limited number of children under the age of 10.
We need volunteers for food prep/serving/cleanup, child care for infants (nursery), school-aged supervision, people willing to provide different parts of the evening meal, lead a craft, greeters, etc. We want to have enough volunteers so that people can work shifts, rather than the entire afternoon.

Christmas Happenings at RMCM
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION #1
December 13th is going to be packed with fun and food, so mark your calendars. Why you ask? This will be the day we celebrate Christmas with our RMCM Family and Friends. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite our friends and family in the community to join us for great food and fellowship.
Children’s Play - During service, the Children will present the play ‘The Greatest Gift’ written by Linda Lucido.
Potluck – The potluck will follow immediately after service during our usual fellowship time. We want to have an abundance of food so those visiting will just be able to enjoy the time with us. Children’s Games - We will also have games and fun for the kids. Each child 12 and under should bring a small gift ($5.00 or less) wrapped and marked boy or girl. CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION #2
We will hold our 2nd annual Christmas Candlelight Service on Sunday, December 20th at 6:00 pm. This will be a one-hour service filled with music, special readings, and the lighting of candles. There will be no nursery or children’s church at this service. Please plan to come, and bring your friends.
Immediately following the Candlelight Service we will have a Christmas Cookie Extravaganza. HOLIDAY SCHEDULING CHANGES
There will be no Mid-week Bible Study, or corporate prayer, on Wednesday, December 23rd, 30th, or January 6th.
There will be no TGIF on December 25th, or January 1st.
There will be no Worship Practice on December 24th, or December 31st.
The RMCM office will be closed from December 22nd through December 31st.

About the Group:
We will dig into the lives of "great figures in Christian history", such as Augustine, Thomas a Kempis, John Wesley and the "Holy Club", John Edwards, George Whitfield, C.H. Spurgeon, Hudson Taylor, Noah Webster, William Wilberforce, John Calvin, Martin Luther, and others. We'll learn about their lives, how they changed the world and glorified God, and what they taught.
