Parent’s Day Out
Saturday, December 12th, noon – 8:00 p.m.
In an effort to help busy Gunnison parents get their Christmas shopping done, RMCM is hosting a Parent’s Day Out on Saturday, December 12th from noon to 8:00 p.m. During these hours, RMCM will provide childcare for a limited number of children under the age of 10.
We need volunteers for food prep/serving/cleanup, child care for infants (nursery), school-aged supervision, people willing to provide different parts of the evening meal, lead a craft, greeters, etc. We want to have enough volunteers so that people can work shifts, rather than the entire afternoon.
We will be advertising Parent’s Day Out in the newspaper soon, so we need your commitment now. Please sign up right away by CLICKING HERE, or on the sign up sheet at the front door. Food Drive – Sunday, November 15th
In an effort to bless our community during the Holidays, we want to gather some food for the food pantry. The Gunnison Country Food Pantry is a wonderful local ministry that does a great job distributing food to people throughout the valley. They always need extra food this time of year, so bring your canned goods, or fruits and vegetables to RMCM on Sunday November 15th, and we will deliver them to the food pantry the following week. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, make a check out to RMCM for Food drive, and we will get it to them. LET’S FILL THEIR SHELVES!
TGIF!
Friday Nights - 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
TGIF is a time for everyone to gather for a variety of activities. Some nights will focus on worship and prayer, other nights may be game nights, or outreach nights. If you would like to head up one of these evenings let Nanette know! 970.596.7654
November 13th – Youth Group & Ice Cream!
For this weeks TGIF we are specifically inviting the youth group students and their parents to join us for ice cream, games and fellowship. Everyone is welcome to come meet these awesome students and their families. Please bring your favorite ice cream topping to share! Ice cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and whipped cream will be provided. . . oh yeah, I guess we’ll give you a bowl and spoon too!
Women’s Christmas Tea
Saturday, December 5th @ 4:00 – 6:00
Thanks to the many volunteers helping out, the 4th Annual Women’s Christmas tea is here! Organized and led by Elaina Jauregui, the Christmas Tea is a great time of fellowship with other Christian ladies in the community and a great place to bring your non-Christian friends.
Ladies, please join us this year at Bethany Baptist Church on Saturday, December 5th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. for some great music by Ari Patrick, wonderful desserts, great fellowship and an inspiring message from Robin Wilkinson!
This is a FREE event with a $5.00 suggested donation.
Come and be refreshed with the Word and great worship before the busy holiday season.
